On a mission: helping others realize their dreams in Italy
My move was a rollercoaster of exciting and challenging experiences. I realized that I could use my own experiences to help others in similar situations. I made it my mission to provide important informationmmeln and documented on my website and made available to like-minded people who dream of buying a property in northern Tuscany.
My Trip to Italy: A Love Story
At the tender age of 25, I began a life-changing journey when I fell head over heels for a...Italians fell in love. It was a love story that transcended borders and I made the brave decision to leave my homeland, Switzerland, to start a new life with my sweetheart in Italy.
In 2019 I moved to Carrara, the 'City of Marble', the gateway to northern Tuscany. Although I was fortunate to have the support of my (now) husband and his friends and family, I encountered numerous challenges.
Language barriers, cultural differences and Italian bureaucracy didn't always make life easy for me in the land of pasta and pizza.

Sophia has been living in Italy for 7 years, first on Lake Garda and for a year in Versilia, in northern Tuscany. She has all the important local contacts that are necessary to fulfill the one big dream that she has also fulfilled for herself: to finally live in Italy. It will be a great honor for her to fulfill her dream of living in the land where the lemons bloom.
In recent years, Fiona and Sophia became a team with the same goal. Sophia is also a German real estate consultant at RE/MAX Golden House in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, Italy.
